    Description

    AGAT Laboratories is a full-service laboratory with locations across Canada. We are the most diversified laboratory in Canada. Our scientists are highly-skilled and specialized in the fields of biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, geology, engineering and other specialty services. With a broad range of staff experience and state-of-the-art instrumentation, we provide cross-analytical solutions for the Environmental, Energy, Mining, Transportation, Industrial, Agri-food and Life Sciences sectors.

    Summary:

    AGAT Laboratories is hiring a Driver to join our Logistics team. Based out of our Environmental lab in Mississauga, Ontario, this position is responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of customers' packaged and samples.

    This position plays an integral part of providing "Service Beyond Analysis" and as such the successful candidate should be customer service focused and represent AGAT in a safe and professional manner.

    Duties:

    • Ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes.
    • Load and unload shipments.
    • Must possess a positive and professional attitude that is customer service driven.
    • Responsible for clear, positive and professional communications with all clients and for ensuring any issues are brought back to the Client Services group to be dealt appropriately.
    • Providing exceptional customer service to our client base.
    • Responsible for maintaining the AGAT vehicle and operating it all times in a safe manner.

    Qualifications:

    • High school education or equivalent GED.
    • Valid driver's license with clean drivers abstract.
    • Reliable, dependable and presentable.
    • Good communication skills, fluent in English along with the ability to interact with customers.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
