Partnering with Business leads, HCM COE lead and HR stakeholders to ensure technology is fit for purpose and provides a foundation to deliver on our enterprise strategy and on an outstanding employee experience.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead on and manage the development (configuration), testing and implementation of system upgrades/changes/developments related to HCM functional areas of Workday
  • Solution, build and configure technical solutions to support enterprise strategy and program roll out
  • Partner with other COE members to develop solutions and configurations that serve across all of Business Applications
  • Review requirements and proactively monitor new features released by Workday, recommending adoption plans if appropriate and when aligned to enterprise strategy
  • Work closely with Process and program owners to ensure process related end user training documentation is accessible to HR and end users.
  • Be the Functional expert and 3rd line support for associated functional area. Point of escalation for identified technology related queries and issues.
  • Represent Workday Centre of Excellence on HR and Enterprise projects
  • Maintain Workday technical specifications and design book

Job Requirements:

  • Strong planning and project management skills are essential, including objective focused approach, ability to prioritize, influence and manage own and others time well
  • Flexibility to work in a global team across multiple time zones
  • Ability to lead conversations with external vendors, internal cross functional technology teams and the HR stakeholders on technology requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of directly related work experience in Workday configuration
  • Minimum of 2 years leading projects or teams
