    NOTE: This is a 2-yeartemporary position with the possibility of extension.

    NAIT'sNDT Test Centre is one of the most reputable of its kind in Western Canada.From Radiography to Ultrasonic and everything in between, we are responsiblefor providing the highest standard of testing and certifying the fields besttrained professionals. We are seeking skilled and energetic individuals, withstrong communication and organizational skills, committed to student motivationand achievement for term limited instructional assignments. These employmentcontracts will include instructional hours during days, evenings and/orweekends as required, and managed through the Non-destructive Test Centre inthe Department of Continuing Education.

    KeyResponsibilities:

  • SuperviseCGSB PT, MT, UT and RT Level II and III Non-destructive Test examinations forindustry candidates.
  • Performworkshops for all methods above.
  • Prepareand present classes in both classroom and lab settings
  • Performongoing review, evaluation, and revision of program content to maintainrelevancy, effectiveness, adherence to best practices, and connection to industry.
  • Proactivelyseeks out and makes recommendations for improvements to the program.
  • Participate inactivities that relate to student recruitment, retention, and progression.

    • Qualifications:

  • Thecandidate should possess certification in at least 3 of the methods outlinedbelow:
  • CGSBLevel II or III certification in Radiography, Magnetic Particle, LiquidPenetrant, Ultrasonic Inspection.
  • 5years minimum field experience
  • Previousinstructional background would be an asset.
  • Preferencewill also be given to candidates who possess CGSB RT Level II and CEDO
