Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada office.


Are you a dynamic and experienced project management professional looking for an exciting opportunity? Look no further We are seeking an Associate or Experienced
Project Management Specialist to join our team.

As a key member of our project management team, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad variety of site-level projects, making a significant impact on our organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects within our organization.

Working closely with project teams, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired objectives.

You will have the opportunity to develop project plans, define project scope and objectives, identify project resources and requirements, coordinate project activities, monitor project progress, track project milestones, and manage project risks and issues.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in stakeholder management, communicating project updates and progress to key stakeholders, and ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in project management
  • Experience in project management software tools (such as MS project, Milestones professional)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or willing and able to enroll
  • Experience in aerospace or manufacturing
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
  • Must be eligible to handle US exportcontrolled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Experience working with quality and/or root cause and corrective action analysis and implementation of acceptable preventative action
  • Experience in collecting data, preparing reports and presentations and communicating results/status to senior leadership
  • Postsecondary education

Typical Education and Experience:


Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).


Experienced (Level 3):Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
