POSITION:
Communications & Marketing Coordinator_

Part time permanent Position (Hybrid) remote & on-site; 20hrs per week. Monday to Friday with some weekend and evening availability around events.
- _
_:__ As a member of the Rotary Hospice fundraising team, the Communications & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing and monitoring communication strategies, that will develop and foster relationships to promote and increase awareness about Rotary Hospice in our Communities._

  • Key responsibilities_: _
- _Develop communication & marketing plans to support annual appeals (direct mail campaigns/community reports), donor relations, grants, corporate and individual appeals, and special events._
- _Create updates and maintain a social media presence in addition to the creation of materials and presentation speaking notes._
- _Document donor, resident, staff, volunteer, and caregiver stories, used in the development of campaigns & events. Attend Rotary Hospice events to capture and promote through social media content_
- _Provides support to community outreach activities._

QUALIFICATIONS:
_

- _Education/experience in Communications, marketing, or public relations._
- _Proven competence in multi-tasking, planning, meeting_
- deadlines and organizational skills_
- _Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a_
- team_
- _Excellent computer skills; Microsoft office, in addition to _
- various social media platforms._
- _Knowledge of e-marketing and design tools or willingness to _
- _learn_

EXPERIENCE:
_
_ _
- _Minimum of 1-2yrs experience in digital communications & Marketing preferred._


_


REQUIREMENTS:
_

- _Two Step TB test and Vulnerable Sector Check_

  • Valid driver's license & occasional use of vehicle required.

_


ABILITIES:
_

- _Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in the English language._
- _Ability to interact with Donors, families, residents, staff of _

  • Rotary Hospice and the public._
- _Computer literate and able to work with Microsoft Suite_._
- _Flexibility with hours around significant Hospice events._
- _Hybrid work schedule to include a minimum of one day on-_

  • Site and remote work from home._
