Job Overview

Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Supporting store operations related to cash management.
Perform various account and bank reconciliations.
Prepare supporting working papers for cash, sales and related accounts.
Investigate discrepancies in cash balances and prepare accounting adjustments as needed.
Communicate effectively to resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
Other administrative, reporting and data entry duties as required.

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum of 1 to 2 years of accounting experience however postsecondary education will be considered in lieu of experience.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages.
Postsecondary diploma or degree in accounting, business administration or related fields would be an asset.
General knowledge of the retail industry would also be an asset.

Must pass a basic security clearance.
Must have reliable transportation.
