Job Overview

Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting store operations related to cash management.
  • Perform various account and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare supporting working papers for cash, sales and related accounts.
  • Investigate discrepancies in cash balances and prepare accounting adjustments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively to resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Other administrative, reporting and data entry duties as required.
Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of accounting experience however postsecondary education will be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages.
  • Postsecondary diploma or degree in accounting, business administration or related fields would be an asset.
  • General knowledge of the retail industry would also be an asset.

  • Team player who is passionate about supporting the overall success of the business.
  • Confident asking for clarification and meticulous about followingup on accountabilities to ensure deadlines and goals are met.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality work free of errors.
  • Must pass a basic security clearance.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
