Fashion Boutique Store Manager
Position Summary
We have partnered with a fashion boutique known for its unique sense of style and superior client servicing to search for a new Store Manager This position reports to the Owner and will lead a team of 4 fashion consultants towards success while fostering a workplace that thrives on fun.
Your job as the Store Manager is to work together with the Owner to ensure operations run smoothly and a memorable and engaging shopping experience is enjoyed by all.
We are looking for an individual that is passionate about providing a high level of client service, encourages team collaboration and brings a positive and professional attitude to the store each day.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert client servicing to all with outstanding product knowledge and a customized fitting experience based on individual needs;
- Oversee store operations, including shift scheduling and store opening and closing duties;
- Offer leadership to the store team by providing guidance, coaching and training as required;
- Receive, categorize and update all inventory using Lightspeed POS;
- Execute all merchandising, inventory ticketing and seasonal floor plans;
- Monitor, manage and fulfill online orders to be shipped to clients;
- Work in collaboration with the Marketing Consultant to gather social media content;
- Maintain a professional & visually appealing storefront at all times;
- Collaborate with the Owner to develop floor plans and fixture concepts for new collections;
- Manage the stores Shopify account to communicate updates such as:
- New inventory
- Store hours and operational changes
- Seasonal and current promotions
- Brand initiatives
- Ensure all internal fixtures and display surfaces are cleaned during periods of down time;
- Identify business opportunities to promote brand awareness in the community;
- Assist the Owner to change out mannequins instore and window display on a biweekly basis;
- Create a friendly, inclusive and positive environment for all clients and team members.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a retail management or supervisory position;
- Professional, respectful and positive demeanor with an outgoing, engaging personality;
- Keen interest in fashion and demonstrated personal sense of style;
- Strong listening and communication skills, ability to understand and work with all clients;
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively;
- Knowledge of general employment legislation including compliance of provincial requirements;
- Strong knowledge of store operations, visual merchandising and inventory risk management.
- Proficiency in the use of social media platforms to create interactive content for consumers is considered an asset;
- Must be able to work standard hours 9am5pm Tuesday
- Saturday and one weekend shift per week.
Compensation Package:
- Flexible hours and schedule options, weekend scheduling is required on a rotational basis;
- Management level wage with no requirement to work evening hours;

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
