Description

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the incumbent will work in the
evening shift 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM as shipping and receiving clerk working in the office and have the primary responsibilities of:

Schedule and make appointments for receptions and expeditions;
Assign the loading and unloading doors according to the space available on the platforms;
Enter information into the computer system;
Welcome drivers, visitors and subcontractors;
Check transport documents, customs, HACCP, etc.;
Check documents related to orders;
Scan client documents;
Assist the foreman and occasionally perform operational tasks;
Replace the foreman as needed;
Perform other related duties.
Ensure compliance with the policies, procedures, standards and regulations in force in the warehouses (H&S, BRC, HACCP, C-TPAT, etc.)

Verify the identity of truckers, visitors and service providers;
Manage the visitors register;

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

AEC in logistics (asset)
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position
Or equivalent work / study combination

$22.00-$24.00 per hour
