About the Role
You will work closely with the CFO and FP&A team to support the long-term operational and growth objectives of the company.
Reporting into the Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis, the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis will be responsible for complex financial planning and analysis and management reporting activities of the organization.
What you can expect to do
- Coordinate the strategic planning process with key business partners (e.g. department heads, general managers, and site controllers) to develop our 3year financial model and business plans.
- Assist with financial model preparation, enhancements, and maintenance ensuring the full financial statement views are aligned with public reporting and accounting policies.
- Monitor organizational spending to ensure that it is within budget and assist in reforecasts as deemed necessary.
- Lead monthly budget to actual reporting, variance analyses and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders, including monthly business review and board materials
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all work to meet or exceed deadlines.
- Work with the Technology and Operations departments to buildout the business intelligence tool to expand the Company's management reporting function of monthly financial and nonfinancial information, e.g. budget vs. actual, revenue and margin by product line, inventory level monitoring.
- Other adhoc tasks as assigned, and as operationally required.
What We're Looking For
- Proven analytical, financial modeling, accounting, and problemsolving skills.
- Tech savvy, adaptive to new technologies and tools, knowledge of SageX3 is an asset.
- Wellorganized with excellent attention to detail.
- Solid track record of meeting tight working deadlines, and prioritizing workload are essential.
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced, highpressure environment.
