Marketing & Sales Coordinator

Job Summary:


The Marketing & Sales Coordinator at Free Play for Kids is the key to building our overall brand and communications strategy.

They are furthermore the champions of displaying the good work of the organization and ensuring all external-facing communication is on brand and on message.

This person also helps us ensure youth, families and sponsors know about the opportunities that exist with Free Play.


Responsibilities:

1.

_Revenue Generation_:
Working in collaboration with the Chief Revenue Officer to drive donations and sponsorships.

2.

_Drive Program Registration_:

Plan and execute in person community events as well as campaigns via social media/advertising/conventional media to ensure Free Play programs are full.

3.

_Building the Brand_:

Building and implementing a strong brand strategy to help families, youth, sponsors and donors see Free Play as an organization they want to be part of.


Education & Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in sales, marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent from a recognized postsecondary institution.
  • Experience managing a medium sized company brand
  • Proven sales track record as well as experience in creating sports focused content, media products would be considered an asset.
  • Clear up to date criminal and vulnerable sector checks.

Position Conditions

  • This is a full time, in office position. The hours are typically 106pm. 40/hrs week, however they will fluctuate greatly to be able to execute evening and weekend community events. The position requires regular travel to programs for creating content or supporting those who are creating the content.

Salary:
$40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
