Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician, Mobile and - Acheson, Canada - Liebherr-Canada Ltd.

Come join our team of experienced Technicians and start your career at an established and fast growing company Working as a member of our crane division, you will have the opportunity to train and work on high performing and quality Liebherr cranes.
In this role, you will work with and support experienced Liebherr Technicians to safely and effectively maintain machinery and components on heavy equipment, primarily in the workshop, or if requested in the field and at customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company health, environment and safety policies
- Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled
- Following companycreated checklists to inspect and test vehicles
- Performing standard electrical/mechanical repairs
- Learning repair techniques under the supervision of the mechanic
- Testing vehicles before and after repair procedures
- Maintaining the workshop and customer areas and keeping inventory areas wellorganized
- Accurate and timely submission of reports and technical document including service reports
- Other duties as assigned
Competencies:
- You are currently completing your Heavy Equipment Red Seal certification (1st or 2nd year apprentice preferred)
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
- You are able to effectively communicate detailed and complex information in a clear and concise manner
- You are selfmotivated with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for extended periods of time
- Ability to work with computers and Microsoft Office suite
