What Opportunity Awaits?

Libro has an opening for a passionately accountable f ull-time Business Solutions Specialist.

This key sales position reports directly to the Business Solutions Manager, and focuses on activities related to the profitable attraction, maintenance and coaching of Owners in a financial portfolio of agricultural and commercial Owners.

They will work with other members of the sales team by guiding and educating them on our Business Solutions proposition.


This position is eligible for remote work, with the requirement to meet with prospects and Owners at their place of business, as well attending in person meetings approximately once per month.


The Epic Human we are looking for will:
Perform thorough analysis of financial information to help make sound pricing & profitability recommendations based on risk, Libro policy, & legislation

Support effective sales management practices as part of the branch, regional, and corporate teams

Work with the Business Banking to ensure all opportunities to provide business solutions are identified to build a full financial relationship with Owners

Focus on servicing & implementing services for medium to large sized Owner & prospect complexity files

Participate in annual reviews alongside Relationship Managers for medium to large size complexity Owners covering both credit and deposit/cash management requirements & opportunities

Develop and execute an individual business plan, containing specific goals and targets aligned with brand, regional, and corporate plans; inclusive of networking and building rapport with professionals within our communities


Monitor risk areas and maintain a high level of fluency and knowledge with internal policies and procedures and industry legislation that may affect cash management services; be accountable for ensuring all business solutions documentation is completed in compliance.

Present holistic business solutions reviews to both Owners and Prospects

Take the lead in building Banking Proposals (RFPs) for various business types

Provide internal support to Business segment staff on inquiries (e.g. day-to-day requests, Lunch & Learns, webinars, community events)

Coach/mentor staff on identifying business solutions needs

Qualifications Required

Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, commerce, business administration, or equivalent

Progressive work experience of 1-3 years in Commercial Services in a banking or finance environment

Demonstrated ability to understand business process and finance, business banking and market/industry segments as well as the aspects of deposit/business solutions business services, to meet the business Owner's needs

Demonstrated ability to be proactive in a sales environment with the ability to work independently, prioritize duties and handle problem resolution; using the business plan to develop and grow a portfolio of Owners

Demonstrated ability to learn all products and services, and provide expert, reliable information and advice

Must possess excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal

Demonstrates a professional image that supports and reflects the " Be Libro " statements
