    Description

    Angelina Loo is looking for a passionate and energetic Dental Assistant to join our well-established beautiful practice in Vancouver, BC.The Dental Assistant is a key member of our clinical team, responsible for providing all aspects of clinical patient care in a professional, efficient, and caring manner.

    The Dental Assistant is involved in a wide range of patient care activities, including assisting the doctor during appointments, treating orthodontic patients, sterilization procedures, setting up the operatories, taking impressions and x-rays, and occasional minor lab work.

    Assist Orthodontist with consultations and all stages of orthodontic procedures.

    • Certified Orthodontic Assistant is an asset including the completion of the Orthodontics Module, but willing to train Dental Assistant.
    • Sensitive to treat children with special needs.
    • Good understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
    • Proficiency with orthodontic/dental management software systems is preferred, but not required.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community
