Le rôle fait partie de notre équipe passionnée basée à Montréal, mais travaille en étroite collaboration avec les équipes qualité mondiales. En nous rejoignant, vous serez un acteur clé dans la gestion de nos projets clients, la mise en œuvre, la conception, l'établissement des normes de qualité et le démarrage de l'usine pour la production de masse. Votre contribution permettra de construire l'une des premières grandes usines de batteries en Amérique du Nord.
L'ingénieur qualité client est le responsable de tous les défauts et non-conformités trouvés par le client pendant la vie en série. Ce rôle représente le client au sein de l'organisation en transmettant leurs attentes en termes de qualité du produit, de fiabilité et de performance et en s'efforçant de les rencontrer ou de les dépasser.
En tant qu'ingénieur qualité client, vous serez responsable de l'évaluation des risques, de la définition et de la coordination des actions de confinement dans toute l'organisation afin de sécuriser et de protéger le client. L'ingénieur qualité client chez Northvolt Six prendra en charge le produit et collaborera étroitement avec l'équipe qualité avancée dès les dernières étapes des phases de développement pour passer en douceur à la production en série.
L'équipe diversifiée et hautement motivée de l'organisation qualité de Northvolt Six collabore étroitement avec les fonctions qualité mondiales dans diverses localisations du groupe Northvolt dans le monde. L'organisation qualité de Northvolt Six travaille avec diligence avec d'autres fonctions pour assurer l'excellence client et l'introduction des normes de qualité les plus élevées pour notre usine et nos produits.
Interface principale de communication avec le client concernant les sujets de qualité critiques et complexes et transmission de la voix du client à l'intérieur de l'organisation.
- Effectuer ou coordonner l'analyse des causes profondes des défaillances des produits livrés sur le terrain et mettre en œuvre des actions de confinement et correctives pour les défaillances critiques, et soutenir les ingénieurs qualité client avec des techniques de résolution de problèmes ou d'analyse des causes profondes.
- Développer la gestion de la qualité : soutien à la mise en place de la structure, analyse des risques et communication avec le client.
- S'efforcer d'améliorer continuellement la qualité du produit envoyé au client.

Customer Quality Engineer – Northvolt Six
We are looking for a driven Customer Quality Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate team based in Montreal, but working closely together with the Global Quality teams worldwide. By joining us, you will be a key player in working with our customer projects, implementing, designing, establishing the quality standard, and ramping up the factory to mass-production sale. Your contribution will enable building one of the first large scale North American battery factories.
The Customer Quality Engineer is the owner of all failures and nonconformities found by the customer during serial life. This role represents the customer within the organization by conveying their expectations in terms of product quality, reliability and performance and thriving to meet or exceed them.
As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will be responsible of assessing risk, defining, and coordinating containment actions across the organization accordingly to secure & protect the customer. You will be leading deep root cause analysis with cross-functional teams when required, identifying permanent solutions together with the relevant stake-holders, and ensuring the implementation of effective corrective actions in a timely manner to meet customers expectations and ensure their satisfaction.
The Customer Quality Engineer at Northvolt Six will take ownership of the product and collaborate closely with the advanced quality team from last stages of development phases to smoothly move into serial production.
The diverse and highly motivated team in the Northvolt Six Quality organization is closely collaborating with the Global Quality functions at various world-wide locations within the Northvolt group. The Northvolt Six Quality organization is diligently working with other functions to ensure successful customer excellence and introduction of highest quality and standards for our factory and products.
Main interface to customer communication regarding critical and complex quality topics and conveying voice of customer inside the organization.
Perform or coordinate root cause analysis on failure from field/ delivered products and implement containment and corrective actions for critical failures, and support Customer Quality Engineers with problem solving techniques or root cause analysis.
Develop quality management: Support in structure set up, Risk analysis and customer communication.
Strive to improve continuously the quality of the product sent to the customer.

- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement international de haut niveau et souvent sous pression.

A degree in engineering
~+5 years' experience in hands-on failure root cause analysis.
~+2 years' experience in applying problem solving methodologies, risk assessment and process improvement tools (8D, FMEA, SPC).
~ Experience in automotive or battery systems within Customer Quality process or other relevant experience.
~ The flexibility to spend a certain period in our Northvolt Labs in Västerås and other production plants during onboarding and early project phase.
~ Ensure smooth introduction of new products from the last phases of development into serial production.
~ Excellent English written and oral skills.
Strong project management & organizational skills.
Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish or German is a plus.
Ability to work in a high profile and often high-pressured international environment.
Fluency in French.
