- Unionized positions with starting wages ranging between $ $49.28/hour depending on the site, per the respective collective agreements.
- Hourly premiums of $0.60/hour on shifts that are outside the recognized day shift.
- Benefits and pension are provided through the union.

- Repairing or replacing mechanical components & machinery
- Rigging and slinging
- Troubleshooting mechanical machinery
- Welding repairs
- Hot work and lock out protocols
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Performing other preventative maintenance processes that pertain to optimum mechanical performance of our facility
- Candidates must be Red Seal Certified or hold valid BC or Alberta Journeyman Millwright Certification.

Are you a certified trades person looking to join a best in class maintenance team? Western Forest Products is hiring for multiple Journeyperson Millwrights to join our sawmill operations located on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC.
