Job Description:

Monitor and coordinate activities with the client, subcontractors & other consultants.
Prepare change & tender documents
Assist the project team with the initial mobilization and setup of the construction site.
Equipment tracking, monitor performance, provide feedback to the Project Manager.
Assist in the resolution of design issues, change requests, material defects and equipment problems.
Manage all project administration activities including payroll, timekeeping, labour coding, equipment coding, purchaseorder coding and safety reporting.
Ensure compliance with Chandos health and safety training and reporting requirements.
Perform periodic field inspections of projects both prior to and during construction to determine compliance with approved plans and regulations at the request of inspectors.
Coordinate the permit process as assigned
Read, interpret and understand construction drawings and specifications, AHJ codes and ordinances regarding building codes, permit issuance and permit fees.
Track and review project proposals of change and change orders.
Perform other duties that may be assigned as necessary.

Students who reside 100km outside of Chalk River, ON will be provided a living out allowance starting at $2,400/bi-weekly (minus any applicable taxes) to cover meals/lodging/travel.
