    Description
    Personal Lines Broker / Team Manager
    Our Mississauga-based client is currently seeking a polished and professional Personal Lines Manger / Insurance Broker.
    The Personal Lines Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the underwriting and management of commercial insurance policies.

    The responsibilities span various areas, such as:

    underwriting, policy management, team leadership & training, client relationship management, marketing, company relations, and strategic thinking and decision making.


    Lead the Head Office Personal Insurance service team.
    Support clients and team members regarding new business, endorsements, claims, and the renewal process.
    Provide leadership, guidance, mentorship, and coaching to all staff to maintain quality and performance standards.
    Implement and manage office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with insurance laws and regulations.
    Oversee financial management tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and timely billing and premium collection.
    Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends and implement strategic improvements in office efficiency and service delivery.
    Develop and maintain business relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.
    Coordinate with insurance agents and brokers to facilitate claims processing, underwriting, and policy issuance.
    Train and supervise new insurance brokers joining the team.
    Valid RIBO license in good standing
    Personal lines sales and/or underwriting experience
    Familiarity with insurance laws, regulations, and underwriting principles.
