Key Accountabilities:


  • Research and contribute to technical proposals, specifications, and requirements
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to define, develop and implement solutions to optimize Sofina's manufacturing operations
  • Maintain strong understanding of system integrations; analyze the benefits and risks associated with the delivery of solutions
  • Participate in solution analysis and planning to estimate effort and contribute to ROI calculation
  • Create process flow diagrams, solution schematics and system documentation
  • Establish project plans, success criteria, testing scenarios
  • Develop solution deployments and lead teams through to project delivery
  • Lead and execute installations, upgrades, configurations and maintenance tasks
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and correct vulnerabilities and bugs
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders and vendors as necessary

Qualifications:


  • Post secondary education or relevant IT discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience analyzing and deploying technologybased solutions.
  • Proven experience in IT systems and planning.
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience.
  • Current with IT industry trends. FMCG/Food/RMD industry systems experience is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in ERP, MES and EDI systems.

Working Conditions:


  • The job incumbent is required to operate and provide focused mentoring under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Frequent overtime work and flexibility to work during unusual hours is expected.
  • Overnight travel is occasional; however, travel requirements may increase during project implementations or acquisition integration.
  • Physical environment is generally pleasant, while moderate physical effort is expected.

Working Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (need to be flexible according to the business needs).
