We are recruiting for a permanent full-time
Financial Services Associate to be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of financial information.
Compensation Package:
- Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.5 hours/day for a total of 37.5 hours/week;
- Annual pay range is $56,024 to $63,297;
- Flexible working arrangements with the option to work remotely up to 40% of the time;

Minimum Requirements for this position include:
- Post-secondary diploma equivalent to a two-year course of full-time business study with a specialty in Accounting is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience as deemed acceptable by the Agency;
- Minimum 2 years' recent fulltime experience in accounts receivable/payable capacity. NotforProfit experience preferred;
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in handling financial data;
- Knowledgeable of general office and accounting practices including maintaining files and record keeping;
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft office products with above average abilities in Excel and Word.
- Printing and distributing month end financial reports;
- Assisting in the preparation of data for yearend audit;
Accounts payable duties including:
- Preparing and posting monthly journal entries for preauthorized automatic debits;
- Checking invoices, verifying adequate payment authorization, and inputting into financial system;
- Maintaining and transmitting EFT information to bank;
- Preparing/printing cheques and matching documentation for signoff by Directors;
- Reconciling supplier statements.
Accounts receivable duties including:
- Preparing cash receipts listings including preparing, posting and delivering bank deposit;
- Preparing, posting and mailing invoices, statements and receipts for all receivables;
- Maintaining and transmitting EFT information to bank;
- Reconciling various receivable accounts.
