    Description
    We are seeking a talented Power BI/Data Engineer to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, database management, and data visualization using Microsoft Power BI.

    The Power BI/Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and interactive dashboards to support data-driven decision-making within the organization.


    Data Integration:

    Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse or data lake.


    Data Modeling:
    Design and implement data models to support reporting and analytics requirements, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance.
    Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights.

    Data Governance:

    Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.


    Performance Optimization:
    Optimize data pipelines, data models, and Power BI reports for improved performance, scalability, and usability.

    Collaboration:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and requirements, and provide technical expertise and support.
    Document data pipelines, data models, and Power BI reports to ensure transparency, repeatability, and knowledge transfer.
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
    Proven experience in data engineering, database management, and data visualization using Power BI.

    Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database technologies (e.g., SQL, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics).

    Proficiency in data modeling, including dimensional modeling and relational modeling.
    Experience with data integration tools and platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS).
    Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.

    Microsoft Power BI certification.
    Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
    Knowledge of programming languages for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., Python, R).
    Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Understanding of data security and privacy best practices.
