Clare is growing its Toronto yard. Seeking an experienced Counterbalance Operator to work in fast paced environment, relevant drywall industry experience is required.

Job Duties:

Operation counterbalance forklift (propane)
Lifting, staging, racking and moving of various building materials (drywall, steel studs, insulation, ceiling tile, and other related products)
Load/unload products and materials from tractor trailers, flat beds, van trailers
Inventory tracking, order tracking
Quality assurance, maintaining the integrity of products
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

2+ years experience operating counterbalance forklift in a likeenvironment
Ability to lift, bend, and twist 50 lbs
1+ year experience in handling drywall
Experience in loading and unloading of delivery vehicles (flatbeds, transport trucks, flat beds, etc.) required
Experience staging drywall considered an asset
Ability to work indoor/outdoors in all weather conditions
Clear communication, verbal and written (English)
Uphold company standards of customer service
Problemsolving abilities
Proven reliable track record
Ability to work at a fast pace with timesensitive tasks
