We're hiring 1 full-time Tim Horton's Food Service Supervisor to join our passionate Team at Thompson Rivers University. You will coordinate and lead operations, oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and help where needed. We can't wait to see your growth, all while igniting your passion and pursuing what matters to you.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume
    • Anticipates customer and store needs
    • Ensure optimal employee coverage at all times
    • Assists with new partner training
    • Delivers legendary customer service
    • Executes store operations during scheduled shifts.
    • Creates staff schedules and manages staff availabilities
    • Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned.
    • Follow all Aramark and Tim Horton's policies and procedures
    • Responsible for reporting any malfunctioning equipment or unsafe work practices.
    • Ensures that all products are properly merchandised and stocked.
    • Maintain and review daily productions sheets to ensure optimal food management and food waste.
    • Place weekly food and product orders. Maintain product par levels to ensure there is no over ordering.
    • Ensure food freshness and quality.
    • Conduct inventory and usage review
    • Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team.

    Qualifications

    • 1-2 years of previous Supervisor experience preferred
    • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
    • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
    • Maintain emotional control under stress
    • Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Knowledge of the retail experience​​​​​​​
    • Intermediate computer skills. Including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Starbucks web based applications
    • Lifting minimum of 5lbs
    • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
    • Full time availability hours a week, 7-8 hours days
