We are looking for a highly organized and motivated PhD student to be a Research Assistant (RA) for a project on technology facilitated sexual violence among young people.

The RA should have an interest in gender, sexual violence, technology facilitated violence, regulation, and/or youth education.

Applicants should also have evidence of strong organisational or project management skills and a willingness to (learn how to) conduct and analyse qualitative research.

Most of the RA's role will involve coordinating, recruiting, and managing focus groups about technology-facilitated sexual violence with young people ages 13-18 across Canada.

Focus groups will take place in Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia, Quebec, and the Yukon. The RA may also be asked to conduct some focus groups as part of a team.

As such, while prior experience with focus groups or qualitative research is an asset, we are open to hiring a student who is willing to learn these skills, including using NVivo software to analyse data.
