We are looking for a
Mechanical Inspector to add to our construction management team. Join our team and work alongside our technical experts to assist in delivering high-quality projects to our clients.

We are looking for
a
Mechanical Site Inspector for an advanced facilities client, based out of our
Toronto, ON office.

Here's What You'll Need:

years of experience in construction inspection of mechanical piping systems and process equipment

Mechanical engineering/ technologist or demonstrated equivalent
Experience with applicable codes, such as plumbing codes and fire codes
HVAC experience and experience in testing and startup of mechanical systems
Knowledge of construction practices and principles
Ability to gather and understand technical data for purposes of generating technical reports and daily reports
Progressive workrelated experience
Experience with Nondestructive testing (ie. Pressure test)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Advanced interpersonal skills to work with clients and project teams
Proficient in MS Office Suites

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

A technical school graduate or a bachelor's degree related to Engineering or Construction Management
Experience with inspecting the installation of process piping, and process mechanical equipment
Ability to maintain a record of contract change orders and field changes on a set of contract documents
Ability to maintain a record of construction deficiencies
Ability to review time and expense reports from the construction contractor
Ability to work with the project team to resolve construction issues
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Ability to work effectively on a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams
Passion for construction of infrastructure and building projects
