We are looking for a
Mechanical Inspector to add to our construction management team. Join our team and work alongside our technical experts to assist in delivering high-quality projects to our clients.

We are looking for
a
Mechanical Site Inspector for an advanced facilities client, based out of our
Toronto, ON office.

Here's What You'll Need:

years of experience in construction inspection of mechanical piping systems and process equipment

  • Mechanical engineering/ technologist or demonstrated equivalent
  • Experience with applicable codes, such as plumbing codes and fire codes
  • HVAC experience and experience in testing and startup of mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of construction practices and principles
  • Ability to gather and understand technical data for purposes of generating technical reports and daily reports
  • Progressive workrelated experience
  • Experience with Nondestructive testing (ie. Pressure test)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced interpersonal skills to work with clients and project teams
  • Proficient in MS Office Suites

Ideally, You'll Also Have:


  • A technical school graduate or a bachelor's degree related to Engineering or Construction Management
  • Experience with inspecting the installation of process piping, and process mechanical equipment
  • Ability to maintain a record of contract change orders and field changes on a set of contract documents
  • Ability to maintain a record of construction deficiencies
  • Ability to review time and expense reports from the construction contractor
  • Ability to work with the project team to resolve construction issues
  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
  • Ability to work effectively on a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for construction of infrastructure and building projects
