Our company is growing fast, and we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player to join our team as a
Jr.

Mechanical Project Estimator. Reporting to the Chief Estimator, the
Jr. Mechanical Project Estimator will provide support by producing complete materials and labour estimates for projects.


Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review project drawings and specifications with the intent to comprehend the mechanical scope of each project clearly and comprehensively.
  • Identify and finish incomplete hydronic and plumbing piping scope on mechanical drawings.
  • Utilize onscreen takeoff software to create a comprehensive materials and labour estimate.
  • Maintain an estimating database.
  • Prepare estimating data reports.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Job requirements:


  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and hydronic design, industry equipment and systems.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar estimating role.
  • Formal education in mechanical design or engineering is an asset.
  • Previous experience as a Red Seal Plumber is an asset.
  • Proficiency in construction software specifically Quotesoft, BlueBeam and Revisto is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD are required.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Revit are strong assets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required.
  • Previous experience with Procore is an asset.
