As a Digital Product Lead for Advice at Scotiabank, you will contribute to the overall success of the Bank's digital roadmap and Scotiabank's clients' financial prosperity, driving a set of key technology initiatives with Digital Product Design, Engineering, and the Business.


You will oversee the planning and execution of Advice based initiatives, from financial planning solutions to advisor-focused platforms, through to digital-first retail solutions, with particular focus on user experience and outcomes.

This role ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.


Is this role right for you?

  • Agile product management to prioritize effectively and manage interdependencies across key scrum teams
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Prioritize and manage a dedicated backlog(s) with partners in Digital Product Design, Transformation, and Engineering, at Scotia Digital
  • Partner closely with Product Design and vendor(s) to ensure a user experience across client segments that is logical, engaging, and accessible
  • Work closely with business partners to create strategies for connected client experiences and outcomes
  • Ensure the effective incorporation of key strategic user experience partners like Analytics and Customer Experience Design
  • Plan for and consider reusability of Canada components in other markets across the Bank's International footprint
  • This will be a Technical Product leadership role
  • Understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of daytoday business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • 5+ years experience in Digital Product Management using agile practices
  • Education in Computer Science or related Technical Field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills an asset
  • Strong technical competency an asset
  • Financial services experience an asset
