Overview

Accounts Payable

  • Ensure all USS online accounts are accessible and login information is current
  • Obtain all invoices
  • Compile invoices, match backup
  • Enter invoices into SAP / Sage Intacct
  • Prepare cheque runs and any online payments
  • Main soft and hard copy filing system including SAP/Intacct attachments
  • Save PDF copy and SAP attachment
  • Contact vendors and/or employees for backup
Accounts Receivable

  • Post payments received in SAP daily from various sources such as PayPal, Stripe, Wire transfers
  • Monthly invoicing and reporting
  • Report to the accounting manager on aging accounts receivable on a weekly basis with accurate updates
  • Contact licensees and students regarding delinquent accounts
  • Respond to licensee and student inquiries regarding accounts and payments
  • Liaise with warehouse team on shipping of products on purchase plans
  • Maintain filing system
  • Research, track and resolve any issues related to payments in a timely manner
Accounting

  • Provide assistance in monthend and yearend closing
  • Post monthly accruals, as per Manager's instructions/guidance
  • Update inventory for new goods received and/or products transfers
  • Monthly bank Reconciliations
  • Update Standard Operating Procedures as required
  • Act as backup for the other Accounting Clerks as necessary
  • Adhoc projects as per Managers request

Qualifications:


  • College degree or higher
years accounting/finance experience, including in a similar position

  • Experience with full cycle accounting specifically on accounts receivable and payables
  • Experience with account collections, investigations, misapplied payments and invoicing
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong experience working with major accounting software
  • SAP/SAGE Intacct preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
  • Experience working with the ecommerce platform Shopify is an asset
  • Strong data visualization skills such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees,
  • Proactive and independent

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
