About the Role


As
Vice President, Digital **Commercial
Technology **you will oversee the development and deployment of cutting-edge digital commercial solutions, leading a global team of engineers, testers, business analysts, while patterning with business leaders to drive the growth of digital offerings for Thomson Reuters customers.


Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:


  • Develop and implement the strategic roadmap for commercial digital technology solutions aligned with our business goals.
  • Partner with other executive team members to ensure technology strategies are integrated with corporate and divisional strategies. Work with leadership team and comms support to identify plan/strategy.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of digital solutions for commercial functions, ensuring timely and costeffective delivery.
  • Promote and ensure the adoption of best practices in digital product development, quality assurance, and maintenance.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the digital commercial technology team, ensuring they have the resources and direction needed to succeed.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and other departments to identify opportunities for digital enhancements and integrations.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, partners, and vendors to understand the evolving digital landscape and identify potential areas of collaboration.
  • Oversee the digital commercial technology budget, ensuring investments align with strategic priorities and yield maximum return.
  • Monitor technology trends and developments, recommending investments and partnerships that can enhance our digital commercial capabilities.
  • Establish protocols and standards to ensure the security and compliance of our digital solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate potential risks associated with our digital commercial technology initiatives and develop mitigation strategies.

About You
To be considered for the role, you will need to have

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions related to digital commercial technology.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing digital strategies in a commercial setting.
  • Strong understanding of the latest trends in digital technology, ecommerce, data analytics, and customer experience solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Experience with enterprisewide transformation projects. May lead some of the transformation projects.
  • Experience working with a global team in multiple time zones
  • Able to present in front of senior executives as well as write clearly, concisely, and compellingly
  • Bold enough to challenge the statusquo with strong thought leadership and influential communication skills
  • Proven effective project management capability in a highly matrixed, customercentric organization
  • Always focused on doing what's right for the business
