Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Surveillance Manager, this position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of video and access control equipment.
Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, and work closely with other departments such as security and IT, to ensure a coordinated response to any incidents.
Motivates, and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
- Repairs and maintains the CCTV and Access Control systems; installs new systems
- Installs and maintains technical software and databases
- Trains team members on equipment use
- Prepares and follows an approved Preventative Maintenance Schedule
- Research new products and technologies; provides recommendations
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
- Post Secondary education in Electronics Engineering or suit able combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical closed circuit TV environment
- Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Lift Training and WHMIS certification
- Ability to exceed internal and extern al customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Work Environment Considerations
- Regular office and casino environment, nontraditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances
