    Our client is a well-established financial institution with a significant presence in North America. We are seeking a highly skilled Javascript Developer to join their dynamic team.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the design and product team to provide strategic direction (via extensible, open behaviours), tactical UX insights, and analyze technical feasibility of hypothetical features
    • Work closely with backend teams to design and integrate RESTful interfaces that conform to modern standards of readability and transparency expected of public APIs
    • Decompose large, complex projects into smaller tasks and provide highlevel estimates to assist with project planning and tracking
    • Implement new features and update existing web application behaviours in accordance with evolving product needs
    • Troubleshoot and correct defects present in the product throughout development, quality assurance, and in live clientfacing systems
    • Document technical details as needed to support future maintenance of the product: requirements, configuration / installation instructions, implementation notes, limitations or assumptions.
    • Refactoring code as needed to support longterm performance and maintainability goals
    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
    • Strong communication skills with fluency in English
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Angular (Angular 14+)
    • Ability to evaluate tradeoffs effectively, balancing perfection and compromise in decisionmaking processes
    • Proficiency in common data structures and problemsolving techniques, including arrays, sets, maps, graphs, and trees.
    • Familiarity with major security considerations in frontend development
    • Fluent in REST, including resolution states, request/response signalling, and progress events
    • Experience with frontend tagging using Adobe is a plus
    • Experience in implementing AA accessibility using frontend technologies is a plus
    • Comfortable working with a flexbox layout system
    • Proficient in Git for source control
    • Strong algorithmic skills.
