    Position:
    Legal Construction Technician

    Schedule: 40 hours per week from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Salary:
    $60,000 to $62,000 depending on experience

    We're looking for a Construction Paralegal in Boucherville to join our growing team and support the growth of a client who is a leader in its field.

    Responsibilities
    The main responsibilities of the Boucherville-based position are as follows:

    • Perform legal research (titles, project disclosures, etc.) ;
    • Communicate with customers and general contractors to open projects and update files;
    • Assist employees in customer support;
    • Carry out various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department;
    • Assist credit team with denunciation letters.
    Qualifications
    To succeed in this position as a Construction Paralegal in Boucherville, you must have the following qualifications:

    • AEC or paralegal or equivalent experience;
    • 2 years' experience in construction law, paralegal work or as a construction administrative assistant;
    • Good knowledge of releases and disclosures;
    • Knowledge of basic software (Microsoft Office suite, etc.);
    • Excellent command of English and French (spoken and written);
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
    • Rigor, attention to detail and organization;
    • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
