    Our mission within the AutoCAD product development team is to uphold the legacy of the world's leading CAD applications and provide value to a new wave of users, across diverse platforms of their choice. Our endeavors to extend AutoCAD to new platforms have garnered recognition from major tech giants like Apple, Google, and Microsoft, setting benchmarks for cross-platform development.

    We are seeking a proactive Software QA Engineer to join our team in developing AutoCAD Web. As a member of our dynamic team, you will leverage your understanding of end-user processes to strategize, develop, implement, and upkeep test plans with a focus on early defect detection that may impact users. Your role will involve infusing the customer's perspective into the software development realm to ensure product objectives are achieved, thereby guaranteeing exceptional functionality and services for our users. Additionally, presenting and showcasing these features to partners will play a pivotal role in the success of our projects. This hybrid role is based in Vancouver, Canada.

      You will:

    • Participate in Scrum ceremonies for requirement gathering, test planning, execution, and progress reporting
    • Create comprehensive software test plans emphasizing UI, functionality, performance, and workflow
    • Conduct manual tests to identify defects in features or products and prioritize them
    • Receive defect reports from various sources and validate specific issues for development reference
    • Formulate test cases based on real production scenarios and develop automation scripts
    • Uphold high-quality standards for the products you are working on
    • Assist end-users with training matters and defect identification
    • Collaborate with seasoned engineers to absorb best software development practices

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Educational background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related fields
    • Master's degree graduate or Bachelor's degree holder with 2 to 3 years of experience in Software QA, Design Institute, or relevant industries
    • Proficient in problem-solving methodologies, tools, and techniques
    • Passion for embracing new challenges and expanding knowledge
    • Experience with CAD software, scripting, Auto LISP programming, JavaScript, and Postman is advantageous

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Hands-on experience in application testing
    • Familiarity with Agile Software Development Processes and Product Development Life Cycle
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing information
    • Keen interest in adopting new technologies promptly
    • Quick learner when it comes to comprehending large software systems
