Responsibilities:


SUMMARY:


The IT System Intake Analyst works within the BTS (Business Technology Services) IT Applications & Operations (A&O) department, with a primary focus on the intake, planning, and scheduling of work for the IT A&O teams, ensuring the department is set up to successfully deliver on commitments to stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for leading the development, documentation, and communication of processes and procedures required for the effective and efficient movement of work from initial intake through resource assignment, as well as reporting of metrics supporting the delivery of related services.


The IT System Intake Analyst is a highly customer-oriented role requiring a strong focus on technical facilitation of service delivery and ensuring sustainment and availability of production environments is a priority.


Qualifications:


EDUCATION
The requirements for this position are acquired through completion of a post secondary diploma in information technology related discipline.


EXPERIENCE
Requires six (6) years of information technology operational and service delivery experience in a complex environment with a large volume of technical enterprise systems, which may include:
Prior experience in project management with demonstrated strong analytical skills when developing and recommending business improvements and change initiatives.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to persuade others.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage positive customer relationships.

Prioritize and manage own and others workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.

Experience with process and procedure development, work intake and scheduling processes and tools with an Agile mindset.

Experience with cloud technologies, project management, change management, MS DevOps / Jira would be beneficial.

Recruitment Process:

An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process.

A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.


Work Schedule:

37.5 hours per week.


Work Designation:

Hybrid

This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.


Rate of Pay:

Salary $8,460 - $10,159 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
