The Business Process Specialist will play a key role within the Enterprise Improvement Department and will be responsible for
improving the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations through the design, implementation, and management of business
processes. This will include developing systems and overseeing critical deliverables such as business capability models, business
process mapping standards, value streams, and development standards. The main responsibility of this position will be to lead the
development of a business process management system at Manitoba Hydro, with the goal of aligning strategic objectives and
priorities with efficient systems and processes. This position will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for process
automation and working with D&T and other technical teams to implement automation solutions that align with our business
objectives, initiatives, and systems.


_ Responsibilities:
_


  • Lead the development of business process management methods and systems at Manitoba Hydro.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to develop and implement process improvement initiatives that
- increase efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and work with D&T and other technical teams to implement automation solutions,
- leveraging the latest technologies to drive value for Manitoba Hydro.
  • Conduct process mapping and analysis, facilitate business capabilities mapping, and build business information and

- documentation models.
  • Develop systems that support process documentation and monitor and track key performance indicators related to strategic
- objectives, priorities, and initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and support business and leadership systems that align with the organization's culture and improvement

- efforts.
  • Conduct assessments of current systems to identify opportunities for improvement and alignment with business initiatives.

_ Qualifications:
_


  • Fouryear degree from a university of recognized standing in a related field with a minimum of five years of related experience.
OR

  • Twoyear diploma from an educational institute of recognized standing in a related field with a minimum of seven years of
related experience.

  • Program/project management skills and the ability to set clear goals to achieve desired results.
  • Strong understanding and utilization of various process improvement methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Process


  • Mapping.

  • Familiarity of process design methodologies, such as Business Process Model and Notation are an asset.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify patterns and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience in change management and the ability to effectively manage and implement process improvements.

Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $46.06-$63.58 Hourly,
$88,251.02-$121,841.46 Annually.
