    Description

    Motion is growing fast (3x YoY), our product is sticky (120%+ Net Revenue Retention), and we recently raised $6M in seed funding.

    But we're just getting started and we need your help.
    We're building a new category of software to bridge the gap between performance marketers and creative teams.

    Our creative analytics platform offers fast, visual reporting for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube ads to help creative teams understand what's working and why.

    Our team is still small, with 10 engineers and 25 company wide. In this role, you will play a crucial part in writing backend for customer facing features.

    As a company, we have a strong bias towards action and are looking for high agency individuals with both technical and product savvy.

    You will use good judgment to make product choices and technical decisions from our customers' perspective, we expect more than just shipping code.

    Motion is a fully remote company but we work closely as a team. js , MongoDB, TypeScript, and associated tools is essential

    • Experience building web apps loved by users
    • Pair with a senior dev to get set up with our codebase and tooling.
    • Work independently on product solutions that get shipped to main
    Actively contribute to the engineering process by being vocal in meetings, setting the roadmap, contributing to the tech stack, etc

    • Be an active contributor across the organization, not just on the engineering team
    • Continuously learn and tackle unique technical challenges within our evolving product
    • Contribute to making the engineering team better in ways we haven't thought of yet
    Fully remote team with incredible offsites and retreats to build camaraderie.

    We've found product market fit but we're still so early that you will have a major impact on all the work left to do.


    • The engineering team is small, eight devs, but established enough that we can ship serious features regularly.
    • We're a tech company so we have all the standard startup benefits: Great vacation policies, health care, modern tech, home office budget etc.
    • We prioritize shipping quickly to users, pushing new features and iterations every two weeks. We want Motion's impact in the creativetech industry to be up there with the Webflows, Canvas and Figmas of the world. We have a deep understanding of the problem space through many years of building in the industry.
