What you can expect in this role?
- extraction, aggregation, and transformation of data from multiple sources for support financial close reconciliation, reporting and analysis through python
- data modelling to ensure data quality and integrity through scrutinizing data lineage, verify data segmentation and patterns to understand root cause analysis
- providing support for master data archiving, retention, and conversion,
- product advocacy becoming a bridge between finance and support teams,
- coordination of master data management through SharePoint, Power Apps & EDMCS in collaboration with financial stewards and adhering to data governance policies through the Enterprise Data Office (EDO),
- coordination of the financial back-off operations and month-end cycle ensuring on-time delivery for financial and regulatory reporting deadlines,
- compile integrated financial business and supporting processes to conduct analysis for areas of optimization or address pain point areas including feasibility and impact of continuous improvement initiatives
- produce supporting reports, presentations, and dashboards, and
- providing support for planning and execution of the Finance Programs or Continuous Improvement initiatives including participating in data analysis and preparation for elaboration, build and test cycles.

What do you bring to the role?

University Degree or college diploma in data science or information systems, or a related discipline
Data modelling experience with Python, SQL, Oracle, R Programming, or MATLAB
Experience in cloudbased ERP systems and implementation of ERP systems would be advantageous
Master data cleansing and coordination experience
Data visualization experience
Business process experience with exposure to MS Visio
Strong communication to effectively communicate and lead cross functional sessions
Financial accounting and reporting exposure with data analysis would beneficial
Experience in the insurance industry is an asset, but not required
