Position Description:


Core Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


Analyze Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data to identify trends and generate insights from findings

  • Review OEE data (weekly and monthly) for completeness and accuracy in preparation for analysis in PowerBI
  • Analyze SKU, line, plant and regional data to identify trends within the business
  • Generate insights and finding on key OEE metrics (availability, performance, quality)
  • Deep dive, investigate, and understand the key loss buckets and drivers within availability, performance, and quality
  • Identify recommendations to capture opportunities or address risks and challenges

Work closely with key stakeholders (e.g., Plant Leads, Finance) to investigate and follow up on opportunities and challenges

  • Validate findings with stakeholders (e.g., confirm understanding, obtain more information to support analysis)
  • Collaborate regularly with other teams to proactively identify challenges and opportunities to further enhance performance
  • Determine and understand the implications of findings to different stakeholder groups (i.e., plant impact, financial impact)

Create reports and visualizations to communicate and present findings with key stakeholders

  • Develop presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint, PowerBI) to socialize findings with key stakeholder groups
  • Present at key operational meetings (e.g., Working Team)

Support OEE governance and continuous improvement to evolve OEE capability

  • Perform data diagnostics and work closely with IT and Plants to identify and address challenges
  • Identify opportunities to internal processes, data, or technology to improve OEE reporting
  • Develop training materials and documents to support communication of changes, updates, and new processes
  • Work closely with key stakeholders (e.g., plants) to ensure alignment and adherence to OEE methodology

Provide ad-hoc program support for other initiatives (ongoing and proposed)

  • Support Director in developing insights and findings to support other initiatives (e.g., business casing)

Key Experience & Requirements:


  • 35 years of progressive finance and analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, MBA preferred
  • Professional Finance designation (i.e. CPA or MBA preferred)
  • Finance Manufacturing knowledge and experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, data mining and financial modelling skills using tools such as PowerBI, SAP, and other data analytics technologies
  • Strong modelling and excel skills with the ability to understand complex excel formulas, simplify templates, and cleanse data
  • Strong ability to navigate matrixed environment
  • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and issues in a simple, compelling, and concise manner for presentation and discussions with senior management and other nonfinancial business leaders.
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to interact effectively and quickly establish trust and credibility at the senior management level as a strategic financial partner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work crossfunctionally and foster positive and effective business relationships.
  • Assertive, mature, proactive, diligent, takecharge individual that is confident in putting ideas forwarded open to challenge others and ask questions
  • Influencer, able to persuade others to action without absolute authority
