Media Coordinator (Volunteer)
Latincouver Cultural & Business Society - Vancouver, BC

(volunteer/ unpaid position)

Latincouver is a non-profit organization that for the past 14 years has been connecting over 100,000 Latin Americans with Latin enthusiasts living in Western Canada.

As of today, we are the point of reference within the Latin American community in British Columbia.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting in the daytoday project management of our digital media executions, including but not limited to reporting and analytics, requesting information from suppliers, and working with internal teams to ensure alignment on timelines for launch of campaigns
Creating a calendar of posts according to the brand guidelines and measuring performance through the KPIs
Focus on traditional media (Ratio, TV, Outdoors, etc)
Develop, implement, and track goaldriven social media campaigns
Contribute to social media engagement and project awareness campaigns, particularly across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter
Optimise website and social channels for SEO best practice
Contribute to stakeholder outreach and engagement communication deliverables

Requirements and skills:

Appropriate university education in Marketing, Ecommerce, or Business Intelligence
Exceptional English skills
Strong interest in data analysis and synthesis, web analytics and business intelligence
Proven ability to meet deadlines, fulfill client requests on short notice, work on multiple tasks and adapt to change
Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to multitask
Exemplary interpersonal and customer service skills
Knowledge of Latin American culture (*_Spanish or Portuguese are an asset_)

Schedule availability:

Mon to Fri 2 to 3hs per day between 9am to 5pm > 4 days at the office and 1 home office
3 times per week 4 to 5hs per day > From the office
