Intellectual Property Specialist - Montréal, Canada - Sandoz

Join us and make an impact on patient's lives every day Our Canadian IP team is looking for an intellectual property specialist to join us.
You will report to the IP Director and work closely with the IP team on a wide variety of IP matters relating to the commercialization of Sandoz products, with a focus on IP litigation and business development activities.
- Your responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the IP team to execute intellectual property strategy through all stages of Canadian IP litigation matters.
- Establishing and maintaining internal practices, procedures and technology for coordinating and streamlining IP and regulatory information and deadlines.
- Monitoring competitive landscape for developments that impact the business.
- Reviewing and drafting legal documents to support the IP attorneys.
- Coordinating with global affiliates as needed at the direction of the IP attorneys.
- Assisting in managing the patent litigation budgeting process.
- Preparing for and attending meetings with internal stakeholders and external counsel.

Minimum requirements
- Strong skills with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly collaborative with strong client service skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and ethics
