The Parts Counter Person is responsible for developing ongoing and long-term relationships with clients. As a team player, the Parts Consultant strives to develop collaborative relationships throughout the dealership.

Responsibilities

Efficiently help customers select parts and provide internal and external customers (retail and shop) with highquality service
Answer telephone calls, provide price quotes with any other information needed
Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts
Receive payments from retail customers
Handle customer concerns immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines.
Stock items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves; adjust inventory system and assuring all safety risks
Other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager

Qualifications

At least 1 year of Automotive Parts experience is preferable
Experience using a DMS
CDK in particular is an asset
Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude
Strong verbal communication and writing skills
Organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to follow set and standard procedures
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
Flexible and open to change; take on special tasks as needed
Ability to work independently and take selfinitiative
Basic computer skills and comfort with learning new software and systems
Must have a full driver's licence and clean driver's abstract
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and technical/mechanical repairs
