Your Impact:


This position is for an Automation Data Scientist Specialist under Jacobs' People and Places line of business within our communities of practice for Wastewater Treatment (led by Tim Constantine) and Digital Solutions (led by Matt Deavenport).

The primary responsibility for this position will be to act as a Data Analytics/Tools Specialist in the Intelligent O&M group responsible for the development, sales, and support of live digital twins and advanced control of operating facilities.

This currently includes the development, rollout, and commercialization of the Hybrid Optimizer (HO) and Machine Learning (ML) tools within the Divergent Solutions group.

This primary role involves providing technical leadership and implementation related to advanced data tools for the development team.

The secondary responsibilities are to support the growth of data-driven operational analytics delivered on projects throughout key end-markets Jacobs serves.

Presently, it is estimated that approximately 50% of this position would be dedicated to leading, developing, and supporting Intelligent O&M work, and the other 50% being client projects, OMFS (Operations, Management, and Facilities Services) support, and contributing to the advancement of Jacob's various digital solutions utilized for operational optimization.
