Responsibilities:


Qualifications:


  • Degree or diploma in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, web design, or a field related to the industry
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills in dealing with software systems;
  • At least two (2) years of experience with functional testing, preferably working with crm and pos solutions;
  • Knowledge of functional testing including test management and execution tools, with solid understanding of data analysis;
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and QA methodologies;
  • Experience developing and executing test plans and test cases;
  • Experience in defect management and defect management tools [e.g. QC, Jira, Bugzilla];
  • Hands on experience with test automation tool/s [basic knowledge of VB & Java scripting], VBA Macros;
  • Experienced in Waterfall and Agile/Scrum Methodologies
  • Knowledge of telecommunications and I.T. business and process frameworks, preferably relating to billing systems is an asset;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
