Server Job Description:


  • Preparing tables, serving stations, or buffet tables for service
  • Maintain high level of sanitation (wash hands, clean uniform,hair net etc)
  • Running food from the kitchen to the tables when the events required,
  • Prepare buffet stations if event require
  • Serving food and beverage to guests at their tables or at serving stations
  • Creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining and entertainment
  • Communicating with team members to ensure a smooth event
  • Cleaning up after events and aiding in inventory, storage for travel back to facility
  • Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean, replacing damaged or soiled pages, and cleaning chalkboards.
  • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, refilling water glasses, and being attentive to additional needs.

Server Job Procedure:


  • Study the event menu intime & make sure to know every aspect of the event.
  • Show up 10 Minutes before start service
  • Maintain high level of sanitation (wash hands, clean uniform,hair net etc)
  • Running food from the kitchen to the tables when the events required,
  • Prepare buffet stations if event require
  • Serve passed appetisers if required

Requirement:


  • 6 months + experience in an upmarket or highvolume restaurant or banquet hall
  • Food Handler's Certificate and Smart Serve (Up to date)
  • Completion of product knowledge training, and written and verbal exams.
  • Proficient with maintaining a solid customer base.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding people skills.
  • Wellgroomed, professional appearance.
  • Available to work shifts, extended hours, over weekends and holidays.
  • Physically fit, agile, and dexterous.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Proficient timemanagement skills.
  • Available to work in different events locations
