  • Given the parts and told to design and create a robot that meets the required specifications.
  • Designed robot shape and measurements  and created a mock shape using construction paper.
  • Worked with power tools such as a band saw, drill press, and a dremel to cut the metal into the correct shapes and sizes.
  • Using C code and embedded systems programmed everything individually and then put everything together.
  • Sent PWM signal to motors and altered frequency to change speed.
  • Programmed an infrared sensor to act as the robot’s “eyes”.
  • GPIO inputs for reflectivity sensors used to keep robots in bounds
  • Won 2 of 3 matches
