- Given the parts and told to design and create a robot that meets the required specifications.
- Designed robot shape and measurements and created a mock shape using construction paper.
- Worked with power tools such as a band saw, drill press, and a dremel to cut the metal into the correct shapes and sizes.
- Using C code and embedded systems programmed everything individually and then put everything together.
- Sent PWM signal to motors and altered frequency to change speed.
- Programmed an infrared sensor to act as the robot’s “eyes”.
- GPIO inputs for reflectivity sensors used to keep robots in bounds
- Won 2 of 3 matches
