Physical Intelligence - Day 33

This time last year I had compiled a list of youtube pages that specialize in music for exercise, but I have so far not followed through with this because connecting youtube in our gym is still a laborious affair and it requires a more clearer screen than an old television converted to accept digital media.  Weeks ago we had discussed the idea of attaching an i-Pad to the treadmill but not even that has moved far for the simple reason that I don't possess an i-Pad and will not do so for some time.  

Those in my home that can afford an i-Pad are right now sunning themselves in Greece.  The irony of living in a communal setting in my home is that there is an economic hierarchy and I just happen to exist on the poor end of that communal scale.  This is not an inequality but simply how I express my values compared to how others in my family express their values - and this is why when those members of the family have purchased foods not conducive to my physical intelligence challenge can buy what they do.  Today at least I succeeded in the challenge as the packet of silky sugar coated donuts sat in the kitchen all day. I did not take one, for the first time in my sugar-addictive ways I resisted and was not tempted.

What has not changed and will not do tonight is the late hours.  As I write this log nearing 11am, I will most probably be retiring today by 2am, which is is much better than 3am, 5am and 4am in the last three respective days.  If I could lick the sugar problem that would count as a major step towards the development of my own physical intelligence and if I finally get my sleep values centred, that would represent another.  For sure this is slow progress - really slow progress.

For now I simply will go back to you-tube and add in the links I found last year.  At some future date this is something I can come back to when I am economically more astute or at least wiser.  My frugal values still remain more important than the more lavish ways of other family members.  At least in this frugality I share a common value with my mother, but we are now both a visible minority in our home.
