Description

The main purpose of this job is to manage the finishing department team to ensure all finishing tasks of the job are done on time, at supreme quality, and within the given.

budget.


Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the finishing on the completed product per job specifications.
  • Responsible for preparing work to enter the finishing area and/or sanding between coats of finish.
  • Utilizing various finishing techniques, such as brushing, spraying, or wiping, to achieve different textures and finishes, such as matte, satin, or gloss.
- ensuring smooth communication with office to coordinate job process.

  • Developing strategy on Finishing department improvement, periodically suggesting solutions for more efficient performance.
  • Track and enter data in company's project management and archive systems about time spent on jobs and materials used.
  • Comply with all the Company rules.
  • Complete other tasks delivered by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

-
At least 5 years of finishing experience:

  • To be skilled in practical and manual activities
  • To be good at basic mathematical calculations
  • Excellent handeye coordination
  • To have a keen eye for detail and accurate in their work
  • To be organized and punctual.
Work hours - MON-FRI 40-44 hrs/week


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$35.00-$40.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Toronto, ON M9W 4Y5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
