Domus Building Cleaning Ltd. is looking for qualified
Project Experienced Cleaners that have worked extensively in Floor Care stripping and waxing, carpet extraction, and other similar duties. This position will require the work to be completed mostly at a central complex of buildings and a few other specific sites across the National Capital Region. Domus has been in operation for over 50 years with more than 500 employees in multiple provinces and has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.

Competitive Wage Rate of $ $25.00 per Hour to start + annual bonus possible

There is a security clearance requirement that must be obtained.

The current position is between the times of 3pm to 11:30pm from Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Perform stripping and waxing of different types of floors
  • Must be knowledgeable in floor scrubbing and burnishing of floors
  • Maintains floor care equipment
  • Moving/Lifting furniture, heavyduty cleaning
  • Must have some experience and knowledge of wet carpet extraction
  • Supervising staff as needed when helping with the projects
  • Operate carpet machines of various types
  • Other specialist duties as required
  • High dusting experience a plus
  • Flood cleanup, Post construction cleanup a plus
  • Demonstrates infection prevention and control knowledge and skills
  • Garage pressure washing experience a plus
