Job Responsibilities:
MRO Procurement

  • Procure the highest quality materials and services and provide info and services that will generate the lowest total system cost and provide customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with Zone manager to develop purchasing strategies, negotiating and committing for materials related to business units. Through close association, Lead process improvement with internal customers and suppliers throughout Canada with a focus on the Montreal facility
  • Support the Achievement of the Zone target savings goals by identifying and leading crossfunctional strategic sourcing initiatives and leveraging across ABInBev
  • Control day to day logistics of supply programs to ensure an uninterrupted, ontime supply of materials and services while meeting commitments of suppliers
  • Evaluate alternate materials and services, systems or suppliers that can offer potential cost of service advantages while maintaining the highest quality materials
  • Demonstrate expertise within assigned purchasing categories, including specialized industries, sources of supplies, capacities, vendor capabilities and alternative sources
  • Support globally defined procurement process and guidelines for relevant materials at the zone and plant levels
  • Provide analytical support and customer service contingency support to the manager of your entity
  • Monitor yearly material consumption patterns as they affect yearly cost reduction targets
  • Improve working capital through negotiated payment terms extensions

Job Responsibilities :
Capex Procurement Manager

  • Leadership and management of CAPEX procurement activities in Canada.
  • Strategic development and successful implementation of cost leadership programs based on 'InBev Way of Procurement', through collaboration on crossfunctional councils, leveraging scale, sharing best practices, challenging the business, and increasing value add.
  • Management of CAPEX suppliers through development and performance assessment.
  • Understanding the needs of internal customers and ensuring that these are met by the provision of proper use of InBev procurement practices, polices, and procedures.
  • Think, influence, and act on a strategic level to ensure that effective tactics and high performance metrics are in place to drive decision taking in CAPEX in NA zone.
  • Effective management of external vendors ensuring adequate coverage for goods and services in CAPEX; ensuring competitive suppliers' environment for bidding processes
  • Influence over $3550 MCAD annual spend.
  • Responsible for 4 business critical categories in NA zone (Civil Works, Process, Utilities, Packaging).
  • Savings potential of MCAD annually
Job Qualifications and Competencies (do not copy paste into qualifications box)

  • Engineering University degree and/or MBA
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with progressively more senior positions in either Procurement of in a business role with considerable interaction with suppliers
  • Good understanding of business and commercial principles
  • Proven ability to set targets and achieve cost savings
  • Strong negotiations, analytical, project management skills. Strong communications skills
  • Strong computer skills excel, outlook, office, etc.

Technical competencies:

  • Strong and broad technical background and understanding of plan operations and equipment. Field project experience is an asset
  • Solid negotiation skills.
  • Superior project management skills, with the ability to both influence and facilitate
