Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Analysis and Estimating
Collaborate with relevant personnel to uphold analysis processes, insurance compliance, and file management, adhering to standard operating procedures.

Store Administration

Manage daily administrative tasks, including file reconciliation, timecard reviews, payroll oversight, and addressing customer service and facility issues as needed.

Customer Service

Work with store administration staff to enhance the overall customer experience through proactive communication, quality checks, and resolution of issues.

Training and Development

Support staff development by delegating tasks, reviewing repair estimates, observing performance, and conducting regular performance reviews.
Facility Appearance and Maintenance
Ensure the facility adheres to cleanliness standards, oversee repairs, and address issues promptly, including afterhours emergencies.

Production Management

Collaborate with staff to optimize production processes, review reports, administer production meetings, and manage materials usage.

Parts

Coordinate with staff and vendors for efficient parts management, including receiving, organizing, and returning parts as necessary.

Business Development

Promote the location and brand in the community through outreach to local businesses and maintaining relationships with insurance partners.

Financial Review

Participate in financial review sessions, monitor daily metrics, and lead monthly financial reviews, identifying areas for improvement.

Vendor Management

Monitor and communicate with vendors to address service issues, escalating concerns to higher management when necessary.

Qualifications:

Eligible to work in Canada.
Valid Canadian driver's license.
Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience.
Minimum of 35 years of experience in the automotive collision industry preferred.
Knowledge of ICBC and private insurance company preferred.
Knowledge of estimating software preferred.
Previous experience as a body technician or paint technician.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
Proven ability to work tactfully and decisively in diverse situations.
Adaptability to changing work tasks and environments.
Excellent organization and time management skills.

Working Conditions:

Mainly indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks.
Ergonomic concerns related to computer use.
Occasional exposure to hazardous materials.
May be required to drive customer cars within the shop.
Intermittent exposure to loud noises in the shop.

Physical Requirements:

Safely perform essential job functions, meeting productivity standards.
Ability to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
Lift and carry up to 3050 lbs. occasionally.
