    Engineering Operations Manager

    Who We Are

    The Ocado Solutions division supplies Ocado's innovative robotics technology, known as the Ocado Smart Platform (OSP), to major retailers globally. OSP includes access to Ocado's infrastructure solutions, advanced software applications, and robotics for efficient online grocery businesses.

    We are partnering with a new customer in Canada to enhance the online retailing experience using the centralized, automated model of the Ocado Smart Platform.

    Join us in our North American expansion, bringing innovation and technology to the e-commerce market.

    What You Will Do

    • Champion safe working practices
    • Set and exceed engineering KPIs
    • Lead a customer-focused culture
    • Support change initiatives for process improvement
    • Manage operational costs

    The role involves tasks like safety meetings, performance improvement, personnel management, customer relationships, and continuous improvement.

    Who You Are

    To qualify, you should:

    • Be Bi-lingual in French and English
    • Have 8+ years' experience in electrical or mechanical roles
    • Possess management experience in an automated environment
    • Hold a degree in engineering or relevant field, or equivalent experience
    • Understand production, picking, and storage MHE systems
    • Have knowledge of CMMS
    • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Be proficient in Lean and continuous improvement
    • Engage and motivate teams
    • Be computer literate
